"The model house---located at 2720 Bradford Drive, Beverly Place in the South End--is the second 'Home of the Year' sponsored by The News-Bee." The June 11, 1938 issue of the Toledo News-Bee reported that the unfurnished home would open to the public for 8 days emphazing construction features and not furnishings. The French Colonial house was built to sell at a moderate price by general contractor Fred McHugh. The 1937 "Home of the Year" was located at 2237 Chelteham Road and drew over 35,000 visitors over its 8-day showing. | |||||
