This view of 2049 Scottwood dates from 1929.  The mansion was constructed in 1915-17 for Harry Dunn.  The plans for the house were by the architectural firm of Mills, Rheinhart & Bellman.  The next owner was Martin Kelley, president of the Martin V.Kelley Company and then according to the 1921 Polk City Directory, James Blair was the resident.  Mr. Blair was the vice-president of the Owens Bottle Company and the Libbey-Owens Sheet Glass Companny that same year.  Bertha Kinney served the Blair household as a domestic.
