The architectural firm of Mills and Wachter was commissioned in 1895 to develop plans for a new residence for James Ferris. This mansion at 2016 Scottwood was home to James Ferris, the general manager of the T & O Railroad Company according to the 1900 Polk City Directory. The house was altered in 1907, the plans (#1423) by the architectural firm of Mills, Rheinhart & Bellman. The 1918 directory listed Jefferson Robinson who became the president of the Libbey Glass Manufacturing Company. His biography and photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 298. His wife was Mary (Hahn) Robinson. | |||||
