Architect Norval B. Bacon designed this home which was built in 1884 at the cost of $7500.  Charles Hague captured the Robert Jeffrey Wheeler home at 2015 Scottwood in his painting before its extensive remodeling after a 1917 fire.  Mr. Hague, a livestock insurer, married Mr. Wheeler's niece Gertrude Wachenheimer who once lived with her aunt and uncle.  This image is courtesy of the John Medamana family.
