2149 Scottwood Avenue was constructed circa 1898.  William Von Behren lived here until the late 1910s and his widow until circa 1920.. It was posted for sale in 1921.  Soon after its sale, the house was duplexed.  A substantial alteration was made to the front porch and the windows.
