The 1900 Polk City Directory listed Edwin Myers, the chief clerk with the National Union, as the resident at 667 Virginia.  The house was built in 1897 according to the Lucas County Auditor's records.  The 1910 directory listed Fred Rummel.  Mr. Rummel was the secretary and treasurer of the A. J. Rummel Arms Company and the Rummel Chemical Company, as well as the secreatary of the K & K Manufacturing Company.  Esther Dixon, the widow of Samuel Dixon, was the occupant in 1918 of this home.
