3239 Collingwood was home to Leo Hillebrand according to the 1918 city directory.  Mr. Hillebrand was the secretary and treasurer of the A. Bentley & Sons and the General Steel Products & Supply Company.  The 1921 directory listed Dr. Jesse Hull, a physician, as a resident.  The other unit was home to Joseph Stoddard, a general purchasing agent with the National Supply Company.  An overheated chimney caught fire on March 14, 1937 resulting in a $3,500 loss.  High winds fanned the flames causing fires at five other homes.  The upper unit was home to Morris Ciralsky, his wife and son David; the bottom unit was home to Morris Britz, his wife and two children, Harland Britz and his sister Myrna Britz.
