2240 Maplewood
 
2240 Maplewood was home to M. Howard Nusbaum in 1896 who was a travel agent for the Bostwick-Braun Company.  In 1910 student Howard Nusbaum boarded here.  The family's live-in domestic was Edith Jacobs in 1900, while Mary Nenis was the maid in 1910.  William Vollmayer, an asst. mgr. of the Automobile Legal Association, along with Donald and C. Roland Vollmayer resided here in 1921.  Thomas Cusic, a printer, and his wife Mary lived here in 1924.  Their daughter Helen Cusic was a stenographer for Ford agent Thomas Ferrell.  Photo courtesy of Dennis and Mary Helen Laney.
