The 1910, 1918, 1921 and 1924 city directories listed David Leonard as the occupant of 528 Acklin Avenue.  Mr. Leonard was a general agent for the Connecticut General Life Insurance Company.  His wife was Anna Leonard.  Their children included Mary, Lucille, David and Frederick Leonard.
