The 1896 and 1900 city directory listed Hardy Harrington, a stock ckerk with the American Bicycle Company, as the resident at 613 Acklin.  Giles Harrington, a clerk, boarded here in 1896 and 1900. The 1900 directory listed Catherine Thompson, the widow of Hugh Thompson, as a boarder as was William Saunders, a foreman with the American Bicycle Company.  George Marine, a clerk with the Wabash Railroad Company, lived here next according to the 1910, 1921 and 1924 city directories.  Ida Maine was his wife.  Fay Marine and Lucille Marine, both teachers, roomed here.
