616 Baldwin Place
 
616 Baldwin Place around 1937 is seen in this photograph.  The home was constructed on lot #7 in the Hamilton's Extension of Baldwin Heights around 1907. Baldwin Place was once known as Kent Place.  The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Arthur Chase as the resident of 616 Kent Place.  The February 4, 1910 issue of the Toledo News-Bee reported that a mad Boston bull terrier, locked within the storm vestibule, was killed by a police officer at the Chase home.   Mr. Chase was the president of the New Era Paint & Varnish Company. The 1918 directory listed Harry Gill as the resident of 616 Baldwin Place.  Mr. Gill was the traffice manager for the National Milling Company.
