617 Baldwin Place
 
617 Baldwin Place appeared in the 1918 city directory as the residence of Ernest Lattin who was the president of the Lattin Market, butchers.  Mr. Lattin's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 555.  His wife was May (Trudeau) Lattin.  Their daughter Natalie was born in 1910.  Their address in 1921 was listed as 619 Baldwin Place and Mr. Lattin's store was located at3023-27 Lawrence. The 1921 directory listed Vernon Brint, a salesman for the Toledo Blade, as the other unit's occupant.  617 Baldwin Place was constructed on lot #21 in the Hamilton's Extension of Baldwin Heights.
