620 Kent Place was constructed on lot #9 and part of #10 in the Hamilton's Extension of Baldwin Heights around 1909. Charles French, formerly of 2250 Warren in 1907 and who sold general insurance from his office in the Ohio Building, lived here according to the 1910 and 1911 city directories. The 1910 Census listed Helen Kelley, age 22, as the family's live-in servant. The 1918 and 1921 directories listed Mary French, the widow of Charles French, as the occupant of the now-renamed 620 Baldwin Place. | |||||
