According to the 1918 and 1921 city directories, 2917 Burnett Place was home to John Podmore, a division engineer with the New York Central Lines. George Meyer, a coremaker, roomed here in 1918. James Ryan and his wife Flora lived here in 1924. Mr. Ryan was a bookkeeper. The 1928 directory listed J. Edward Nauts and his wife Lula Nauts as the residents. Mr. Nauts was a clerk with the S. W.
