523 Cadillac Court
 
Herman Giese resided at 523 Cadillac Court in 1918.  Mr. Giese was the president and secretary of the Giese Brothers Company which sold coke and coal at 1722-26 Starr.  The 1921 directory listed Asbury Bushnell, the manager of the Underwood Typewriter Company, as the occupant of this home.  Louella Brown, the widow of George Brown, was a later occupant according to the 1924 city directory.   Leonard Donovan and his wife Elizabeth Donovan lived here in 1935.  Mr. Donovan, a lawyer, was the subject of a biography that appeared in Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 4 on page 467.
