The 1924 Polk City Directory listed Albert Steinman, a painter, and his wife Susie Steinman as residents of 2765 Detroit Avenue.  The July 30, 1935 issue of the Toledo News-Bee carried a photo of Dean Stineman, 13 and a student at Glenwood School, who lived at 2765 Detroit Avenue.  He delivered papers to the area of Lawrence, Collins, Ambia and Nesselwood.
