The 1918 and 1921 city directories listed the occupant of 520 Highland Avenue as J. L. Gaynor and Paul Gaynor.  No occupations were listed for either individual.  The February 2, 1938 issue of the Toledo News-Bee reported that Josephine Gaynor, 72 of 520 Highland, suffered a bruised knee when she was struck by a car driven by Daniel Taylor, 28 of 2526 Parkwood, at Cental and Collingwood.
