A May 1910 edition of the Toledo News Bee featured an advertisement for the sale of the $4,000 home at 2371 Hollywood for the consideration of $3,500.  The realtor wrote that the home must be sold as the owner was leaving the city.  The seven-room residence had a full basement, open staircase and flue furnace.
