The March 25, 1911 edition of the Toledo News Bee posted an advertisement for the sale of 2464 Lawrence Avenue by the I H Detwiler Company for the consideration of $4,500.   The nine-room house was finished inside with oak.  The realtor wrote that the house was "splendid in every way".
