According to the Lucas County Auditor's records, the home at 2829 Rockwood Place was the residence of Authur Girard, a clerk, in 1921.  The house was listed as vacant in the 1924 directory.  The 1925 city directory listed lawyer Edmund Froehlich and his wife Charlotte Froehlich as the residents of this house.  His law firm was Smith, Beckwith, Oblinger & Froehlich.
