The 1910 city directory listed the resident as Albert Breed, a signal foreman, and the boarders in this home at 2839 Parkwood Place as Wayne Breed, a travel agent (saleman) and  A. Carleton Breed, a window trimmer.  The 1918 city directory listed Henry Bradley as the occupant of 2839 Rockwood Place (formerly Parkwood Place).  Mr. Bradley was the assistant business manager of the Toledo Blade.  The 1921 city directory listed William McGowan, the department manager of the Berdan Company, as the resident of this home.
