The 1910 city directory listed William Sweet as the occupant of the house at 623 Tennyson Place.  Mr. Sweet was the sales manager of the Toledo Butchers Supply Company.  The 1918 and 1921 directory listed Louis Volk, an auditor for the Lenk Wine Company in 1918 and the secretary of the Elks Home in 1921.  Bessie Volk roomed here according to both the 1918 and 1921 directories.
