The 1910 Polk City Directory listed George Berry, formerly of 2348 Fultoon in 1907, as the resident of 230 Winthrop.  Robert Winters, the president of the R. H. Winters Electric Company, lived here in 1911 while Phillip Hassenzahl, a tailor, lived here in 1912.  The 1918 and 1921 directories listed Harold Kehoe who was with the Willys-Overland Company as the occupant of this home.
