334 Winthrop was home to William Lauer, formerly of 2445 Warren.  Mr. Lauer was with the Lauer Brothers who were tailors with their shop located at 319 Huron.  The family's live-in domestic was Mary Rohan according to the 1910 city directory.  The family still resided here in 1921.
