The George DeMaid family lived at 340 Winthrop according to the 1910 Polk City Directory.  Mr. DeMaid was the sales manager for the Edward Ford Plate Glass Company.  Nellie Grimminger was the family's live-in domestic.  The 1910 directory also listed George Richards who was in real estae.  Thomas Cook's name appeared in 1912.  1918 saw Charles Schindler, a manufacturer of toys and advertising novelties, and roomers Louis, Laura and Cecile Schindler while Loren Wilson was the occupant by 1921.  Mr. Wilson was the manager of the Malleable Castings Company.
