The April 15, 1911 edition of the Toledo News Bee posted an advertisement for the sale of 114 Winthrop.  The residence was described as a seven-room house, bath, electricity, both gases,  and open staircase.  There were new awnings over all.  The house was said to be seven or eight years old.
