2443 Parkwood was home to Anthony Bay in 1911, while the 1912 Polk City Directory listed Frank Crane as the resident.  Mr. Bay was the vice-president of the Wright, Russell and Bay Company.  Mr. Crane was a lawyer.  Matthew Morgan of the New Idea Shop lived at 2443 Parkwood in 1918, while William Vance was the resident in 1921.  Mr. Vance was a special agent with the Standard Oil Company.
