2444 Parkwood was built around 1910 and was home to Clarence Bendict according to both the 1918 and the 1921 city directories.  Mr. Benedict was the director of the Department of Public Welfare.  Caroline Benedict roomed here along with roomer Frances Benedict, the widow of Linton Benedict.
