2445 Parkwood was constructed around 1911 and the address first appeared inthe 1912 city direcototy. Cortez Ellis, a clerk with the RMS, lived here in 1912. F. B. Hutchinson Jr. also lived here in 1912 ( I can't find him listed by alphabetical order in the directory to confirm this ).The 1918 Polk City Directory listed Mrs. Olive Ellis as the resident of this house. James Graham, a traffic manager for the T ST L & W Railroad, was the occupant in 1921. Also, the 1921 directory listed J. Authur Minch, a foreman with the Electric-Auto Lite Corporation, as a resident. | |||||
