2725 Parkwood was built in 1911 at a cost of $4,000.  The 1912 Polk City Directory listed Jasper Ford as the resident.  An addition was approved in 1917.  It was home to Willis Kirkbride, a physician with an office at 1415 Milburn.  In 1921 the Kirkbride family employed Lova Baker as their live-in domestic.
