2715 Parkwood was home to Henry Himelhoch according to the 1918 Polk City Directory.  Mr. Himelhoch was the secretary-treasurer of the Isenberg Brother Society.  Goeffrey Himelhoch, a student, roomed here in 1918.  An ad in the 3/14/1924 News-Bee announcing the opening of his clothing store at 434 Summit had an image of Henry Himelhoch.  The family moved to 1944 Richmond in 1925.  The 3/15/1937 issue of the News-Bee related that a fire in the adjacent home at 2721 Parkwood spread to the garage at 2715 Parkwood owned by H. W. Moburg causing $10 in damages.
