2711 Robinwood was home to Fredercik Schaal according to the 1910 Polk City Directory.  Mr. Schaal was a lawyer with Fell & Schaal.  His biography appeared in Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 3 on page 91.  His wife was Cecilia (Neuhausel) Schaal.   The Schaals had a son James and a daughter Mary Louise.  The Schaals employed a live-in domestic by the name of Augusta Paepcke.  The 1918 and the 1921 direcctories listed Rankin Affleck, a foreman, as the occupant.  Theodore Affleck roomed here in 1921.
