2215 Scottwood was home in 1896 to William McMaken who was the county and city treasurer with his office in the Court House.  The McMaken family employed Minnie Pasch as their live-in domestic.  The 1900, 1910, and 1918 directories listed Mr. McMaken as the occupant of this mansion although his job titles changed over the years.  Myra McMaken was a boarder in this home in the 1910 directory.
