2845 Scottwood first appeared in the 1912 city directory. It was the home of Walter Chase and Hardy Russell that year. It was home to Edgar Tubbs and Benjamin Tramer, a buyer, in 1921. Bertha Potter, the widow of Edward Potter roomed here also. In 1924, lawyer Milton Boesel lived in this home. His image appeared in group photograph Toledo Bar & Bench 1926. The 1929 directory listed Harold Ryan whose biography appeared in Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 3 on page 323. Mr. Ryan was the president and treasurer of the West Toledo Lumber Company. Mariam (Bechtel) Ryan was his wife. | |||||
