The B R Baker Company's main store was located on Adams Street at the corner of Superior.  It specialized in men's and boys' clothing.  This circa 1955 view of its downtown location was provided by Dale Redd.  According to the 1966 Polk City Directory, B R Baker had branches at the Colony, Miracle Mile, Great Eastern and Westgate.
