East Side Central as it appeared in 1895 just after its construction.  This school was located at 815 Navarre Avenue, centrally located in a triangle formed by Navarre, Franklin and Raymer schools.  Its architecture was vaguely Spanish due to its patterned brick, windows, and matching towers.
