Architect Otto H. Hohly  

THE ARCHITECTURE OF LANGDON & HOHLY

Otto H. Hohly and his wife Mabel lived at 2504 Robinwood.  He began his architectural career as an apprentice at the age of 18.  Mr. Hohly designed several Old West End homes, the Blade Building, and the Police and Fire Alarm Building.

In addtition to his design practice, he was once the city service director for the City of Toledo and one-time president of the Exchange Club. 

The Hohlys had one child, the Reverend Harold Hohly.  Otto Hohly died at St. Luke's Hospital on September 12, 1959 at the age of 92.  His widow Mabel passed in October of 1968.
