This coach house still remains standing at the rear of 2717 Collingwood.  It still has the original horse stalls in the back portion of the structure.  It was built circa 1899.  Once known as 2719 Collingwood, the address was changed in the 1970s to 2717 1/2 allowing easier identification of its location from the street.  The 1900 Polk City Directory listed Edward Rhoades as the coachman.  He was 22 years old at the time having been born in May of 1878.
