Charles and Leonora (Barks) Burge lived at 3252 Collingwood, a $15,000 Colonial-style home designed by Langdon and Hohly.  Mr. Burge's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 81.  The live-in domestic in this home which was built in 1909 was Anna Bortleheim.  The Burges still lived here in 1912.  By 1918, the Polk City Directory listed Anton Boerder, the manager of the High Speed Tools Corporation.  Frank and Helen Boerder boarded in their parents' house.
