2052 Collingwood, whose porch can been seen to the far left, was the home of Oliver Bond. The February 17, 1900 issue of the Toledo News-Bee reported that O. S. Bond had obtained a permit for a $8,000 frame house to be built on Collingwood. Mr. Bond was the president of the Merchants and Clerks Savings Bank, His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 563. His wife was Ckara (Raymond) Bond. Mabel Bond was listed as a roomer in the 1910 and 1918 directories. The 1921 directory listed Alma Grotz as the live-in domestic.
