This was the Ellen Flower Deaconess Home on the east side of Collingwood at Hackett. It was used as a hospital until 1913 when Flower Hospital at 3349 Cherry opened. Afterwards it was a nurses' home, an employees' home, a sewing room, and finally a storage area. The May 2, 1955 issue of the Toledo Blade stated that the former home was being demolished to allow the construction of a parking lot to serve Flower Hospital. | |||||
