The 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories listed Anthony Bay as the resident of 2619 Collingwood.  Mr. Bay was the vice-president of the Wright, Russell & Bay Company.  He purchased a 150 foot stretch of land along Collingwood in 1912 with his partner William T. Jackson for nearly $10,000.  D. E. Washburn, an osteopath with his office at 423 Spitzer Building, also lived in this home.
