1910 Collingwood-Innisfail
 

Innisfail "Island of Destiny" was a grand house occupying an entire city block on the east side of Collingwood between Madison Avenue and Jefferson Avenue. It was built for Celian M. Spitzer. The 1910 Census listed Mr. Spitzer, age 60; his wife Lillian Spitzer, 47; servant Joseph Beechey, 40; his wife and cook Margaret "Maggie" Beechey; their son and servant Joseph Beechey, 18; servant Henry Weiss, age 35; servant Eugene Boline, 26; and servant Robert  Lewis, 50.  The home was demolished and its contents auctioned in 1956.  Executive Towers and Fifth/Third Bank now occupy the land.
