2050 Collingwood Avenue was the home of Mr. & Mrs. E. J. Slack in 1888. The Charles R. Bowman home, designed by architect Harry Wachter, at 2050 Collingwood was seen in a 1915 booklet promoting Toledo. Mr. Bowman, president of the Imperial Grain & Milling Co. was listed as resident in 1907. The 1910 directory listed John Schaufelberger as the occupant of this home. He was a lawyer employing Dora Kelsey as the live-in domestic. The 1918 directory listed Hanford Henderson and Mrs. Zorah Bowman, while the 1935 directory listed lawyer Morton Seeley whose biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol.2 on page 655. | |||||
