The imposing mansions of the Zahm, Laskey, Neel, and Gerber families can be seen in this view of the west side of Collingwood starting at 2345, later the home of Michael Owens. The Zahm-Owens Home has been demolished.
Now demolished, 2247 Collingwood was the home of pioneer auto parts manufacturer Thomas W. Warner Jr. and his wife Nettie between 1914 and 1925, having moved to this mansion from #2 Harold Arms Terrace
Warner was the President and General Manager of the Warner Manufacturing Company. His company, which had been making gears and a vertical two-cylinder engine since 1901, was acquired by the Chevrolet Company of New York in 1916.
