The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Marie Heyn, the widow of Albrecht Heyn as the resident along with the live-in domestic, Anne Glynn. The Heyn children, Ruth and Margaret, were students in 1910. Marie's brother Herman Kaufmann and sister Rosa also lived here. Ireland-born Ann Glynn was the family servant. Nathan Nathan occupied the house according to the 1918 city directory. He was the proprietor of the Peoples Outfitting Company located at 240-42 Summit. His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 171. His widow, Maybell Nathan, still lived in the house in 1921. The front porch (#2894) was altered in 1924. | |||||
