The 1896 Polk City Directory listed Winfield Coon as the resident of the home at 2405 Glenwood.  He was owner of the Toledo Construction Company.  His sons Vincent Coon and Clyde Coon worked for their dad and boarded here.  The 1900 directory listed Squire Garnsey and Cora Gaffney as the domestic.  The 1910 and 1911 directories listed Orr Bovard whose biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 558.  Sarah Tenett was the family's live-in domestic.  The 1912 directory listed the resident as Solomon Morgan, a clerk.
