John Solon lived at 2452 Glenwood by the time the 1900 Polk City Directory was published.  He was the president and treasurer of the Solon-Lowery Mining Company.  Susan Brown was the family's live-in domestic in 1900.  The 1910 city directory listed Charles Chittenden, a judge in the Court of Common Pleas, as the occupant.  The 1921 directory listed Allen Loomis, a mechanical engineer.
