The 1900 Polk City Directory listed Jesse Dewey as the resident of 2491 Glenwood.  His wife was Adeline (McMartin) Dewey who passed away December 9, 1900.  Mr. Dewey's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 301.   IN 1900 the live-in domestic was Valeria Maciejewska.   By 1921, Jesse Dewey lived at 3357 Collingwood with his son Roy Dewey.  The new roomer was Fred Southard, the secretary-treasurer of the Hygeia Paper Container, roomer and teacher Estelle Hamilton, and roomer and teacher Cora Southard.
