The 1910 and 1911directories listed Edmund Osthaus, a well-known Toledo artist whose studio was located at 318 13th Street, as the resident of 2632 Glenwood.  Mr. Osthaus remains famous for his dog portraits.  His biography and personal photograph appeared in Memoirs of Lucas County and the City of Toledo on page 148.  Valentine Seeger Jr. was the occupant of this home in 1912, 1918 and 1924.  Mr. Seeger was the foreman of the Toledo Brass & Iron Works.  His wife was Dorothy Seeger.
